Destination Waco Unveils Redesigned Website to Inspire and Simplify Trip Planning
WACO, Texas — [October 5, 2026] — Destination Waco has launched a completely redesigned
destination website, giving visitors a more intuitive and personalized way to discover things to do,
places to stay, dining, events, and experiences throughout Waco. The new site combines a fresh digital
experience with new tools that help visitors discover, plan, and personalize their time in Waco.
The new DestinationWaco.org was designed in partnership with Karsh Hagan Madden (KHM),
Destination Waco’s agency of record. Built with KHM’s expertise and today’s traveler in mind, the site
combines a fresh design and streamlined navigation with new technology that helps visitors move
seamlessly from inspiration and discovery to planning a personalized Waco itinerary.
“Our website is often one of the first interactions a visitor has with Waco, and we wanted that
experience to reflect both the destination we are today and the way people now plan their travel,”
said Lisa Blackmon, Chief Destination Development Officer. “This is much more than a new look.
We’ve created a digital resource that makes it easier to discover Waco, find experiences that match
your interests, and turn those ideas into an actual trip.”
Smarter Tools for Trip Planning
A key focus of the new website is giving travelers more ways to personalize their Waco experience.
Through an integration with Mindtrip.ai, visitors can use AI-powered tools to explore Waco, receive
trip-planning assistance, and build personalized itineraries based on their interests. Conversational
functionality also allows visitors to ask questions and find relevant information as they navigate the site.
The website also incorporates Yodel technology to aggregate event information from across the
community, helping create a more comprehensive and continuously updated calendar of what's
happening in Waco.
Destination Waco is also expanding its use of Crowdriff, a digital asset management and usergenerated content platform. The technology will help Destination Waco organize and manage its visual
content while providing opportunities to showcase authentic photos and experiences shared by visitors
and community partners.
Together, these tools create a website designed to be useful not only before a visitor arrives, but
throughout the entire travel experience.
Discover More of Waco
Beyond its new technology, the redesigned site makes it easier for visitors to explore the breadth of
experiences available throughout Waco. Improved organization and navigation are designed to
introduce visitors to both well-known Waco experiences and places they might not otherwise discover.
The website also includes expanded resources for meeting and event planners, with information about
Waco's hotels, venues, and meeting spaces and tools to connect planners directly with the Destination
Waco sales team.
The new website is part of Destination Waco's continued effort to strengthen the way Waco is
presented to visitors while supporting the businesses and organizations that make up the local visitor
economy.
Visitors can explore the new website and begin planning their Waco experience at
DestinationWaco.org.
